Фразеологія в діалектному мовленні: ареальне варіювання і функціонування

Abstract

У дисертації досліджено фразеологію українського діалектного континууму з увагою до складу та просторового варіювання фразеологізмів, специфіки їхнього поширення та функціонування в живому говірковому мовленні, текстової поведінки; обґрунтовано й апробовано прийоми текстозорієнтованого опрацювання народної фразеології; з’ясовано роль фразеології у формуванні й відтворенні мовної картини світу українців. Виявлено різні значення однакових компонентів, семантичні відмінності в межах груп говірок, наявність ареальних кореляцій, коли територія побутування фраземи та її компонента збігається. Доведено, що в текстах діалектного мовлення можна спостерігати активізацію всіх потенційних можливостей фразеологізмів, що доводить їхню багатоплановість, а також продукування нових семантичних відтінків із метою привернення уваги слухача. Запропоновано методику автокоментування для записів та аналізу фразеологізмів говірок, що уможливить швидше та повніше наповнення емпіричної бази української мови. Описано специфіку функціонування у складі фразеологізмів номінацій із різних тематичних груп (побутові предмети, господарські знаряддя, назви приміщень та їх елементів, флори та фауни та ін.), частоту їх уживання, діалектні варіанти, передбачувану й непередбачувану сполучуваність; простежено просторове поширення фразем і їх компонентів.

In the dissertation the peculiarities of areal distribution and variation of phraseological units of Ukrainian dialect language by their spatial-semantic analysis taking into account functional features and changes of component composition, contextual possibilities of phrasemes have been researched. In order to achieve detail in the studying of the phrasemics of dialects, individual linguistic phenomena, textual recordings of material and records for various questionnaires have been applied. It has been proved that in the texts of dialectal language the activation of all potential possibilities of a phraseological unit, which proves its versatility, as well as the production of new semantic nuances in order to attract the listener's attention can be observed. Different meanings of the same components, semantic differences within speech groups of dialects, the presence of areal correlations, when the territory of the phraseme and its component coincide, have been revealed. The role of phrases as signs of language in coherent texts of oral speech has been clarified, which is complicated by the contradictory nature of these units, the interaction of many factors in the process of their creation, as well as the peculiarities of motivations. In dialect phraseology we observe different meanings of the same components, semantic differences within groups of dialects, the presence of areal correlations, when the territory of the phrase and its component coincide. It has been proved that lexical units that have become obsolete and are unknown to dialect speakers can be recorded in phraseology. Preliminary analysis confirms the idea of the presence of spatial correlations, with the involvement of a larger empirical basis of Ukrainian dialectology, the areal description can be clarified and supplemented. In the research work a new method of recording phrasemes as self-commenting, when informants are asked to explain the meaning of the suggested words – components of phraseological units have been substantiates and tested. Such information is extremely indicative, because the data relate not only to the formal structure, meaning, degree of brightness of the connotative component, but also give a temporal characteristic. The suggested method of auto-commenting for recording and analysis of dialect phrases will allow faster and more complete filling of the empirical base of the Ukrainian language; the method of describing the component composition of phrasemics from different areas can be used to study the territory of distribution of different nominations and their variants in the composition of phrases to determine changes in dialects, define their main and peripheral features, dynamics of nominations, the presence of areal correlations. Thus, phraseological systems of dialect language, where several dialect systems are found, reflect primarily all-Ukrainian phrase-forming processes, but there are also peculiar features. While research it has been defined that phraseological systems of dialects are characterized by a great variety of units, variation, relative mobility of form and richness of semantics. The analysis has confirmed the affiliation of dialect phrases to the unified Ukrainian dialect space and showed contacts with foreign languages and adaptation of such borrowings in modern speech.
