The article deals with the content and modern methods of teaching fine arts in current pre-school educational establishment and primary school. The author investigates the problem of continuity of theory between preschool and primary education and settles priority tasks to be solved by pedagogues in modern educational institutions. The basic content of art activities for preschoolers and lessons of fine arts in 1-4 forms of modern comprehensive schools has been given. The comparative analysis of methods and techniques offered in the content of the Basic Component of Pre-school Education and Primary Education State Standard has been made. The author defines methods of teaching fine arts used in the work of pre-school teachers and primary school teachers with the aim of children’s artistic development and aesthetic education. The main features of senior preschoolers’ competence in artistic and aesthetic development have been systematized; their importance for children’s study in primary school has been substantiated. The author’s approach to the use of certain methods of teaching fine arts to junior and senior preschoolers and junior pupils has been described. The author develops planning of common lessons in preschool educational establishment and in primary school recommending conducting them to form children’s artistic culture. The article emphasizes on the use of paintings as the main means of developing children’s value orientations, their aesthetic feelings, tastes and ideals, and manifestation of reflexive actions related to fine arts. It has been outlined the perspective ways for further improvement of cooperation of pre-school teachers and primary school teachers on the organization of children’s art activities and teaching them fine arts, game technologies in children’s artistic and aesthetic development and training teachers to use them in the work of current pre-school educational establishments. |
