Творча спадщина Т. Ганицького в літературних джерелах

Abstract

У статті характеризується освітня та творча спадщина першого професора музики Т. Ганицького, який організовував музичну освіту у Подільській губернії, зокрема у місті Кам'янці-Подільському, на початку ХХ століття; розкривається зміст монографії В. Іванова “Тадеуш Ганицький”, присвяченій видатному вітчизняному музичному діячу, педагогу, професору, засновнику ґрунтовної музично-професійної освіти Поділля першої половини ХХ сторіччя, який зайняв почесне місце в розвитку національної освіти і культури України.

The article provides biography and analisys of educational and musical activity of professor of music T. Hanytskyi as well as describes his activity in literary sources. The 19th – beginning of the 20th century was the most fruitful and important period for development of musical and aesthetic growth in Ukraine. Kamianets-Podilsky town that has gained the fame to be known as a cultural capital of Podillia region during some centuries was a place where the skills of many musicians have been developed. One of them was a prominent musician Hanytsky Tadeusz (Thaddeus) Dionisovych (07/22/1844 – 07/22/1937). In 1903 he founded a music school in the town of Kamianets-Podilsky, which was described by the Ukrainian, Polish, German, and French press media of those times. Being the head of the music school, T. Hanytskyi dreamt of founding more schools all over the province where children could learn music, and the Podillia Music Society would run the music education organization. In different historic periods, local and foreign scholars have been studying pedagogical and educational processes of Ukrainian music history, and their results were published in scientific editions and textbooks. That is why the problem of making research about personalities of the creators of Ukrainian culture is extremely important. In this context, Professor V. Ivanov's monograph on the studies of Tadei Hanytskyi's long period cultural and educational work related to Podillia and Kamianets-Podilskyi is of great scientific theoretical and practical importance. The work is the result of 35 years of research work and studies of life stories of the music professor, the founder of music school in the Kamianets town above Smotrych river, as well as it goes about education of a huge group of his followers and famous musicians, as well as his concert performances.
