dc.description.abstract The implementation of methodological recommendations on the organization of STEM education into the educational process will allow the formation of the most important characteristics that define a competent specialist: the ability to see a problem and identify as many possible sides and connections in it as possible; the ability to formulate a research task and determine ways to solve it; flexibility as the ability to apply knowledge in various situations, to understand the possibility of having other points of view on solving problems and persistence in defending one's position; originality and unconventionality in solving problems; the ability to regroup ideas and connections; the ability to such thinking operations as abstraction, concretization, analysis and synthesis. Starting from the first year, student youth should be involved in solving creative tasks oriented to the future profession, the setting of which should be ensured by teachers of higher educational institutions providing professional training and teachers of psychological and pedagogical disciplines. uk_UA
