Over the past decades, the media have evolved from a mere transmitter of information into an important participant in the internal and external life of all countries, including Ukraine. As a result, the role of the media in the context of shaping the country's image, public opinion and the influence of the press on the mass consciousness has significantly increased. In this master's thesis, a lexical and stylistic analysis of the discourse of the English-language media on the political and economic development of Ukraine and socio-political events presented on the pages of the online versions of English-language newspapers, such as: "The New York Times, The Independent, The Guardian, etc. The purpose of the study is to determine the lexical and stylistic features of creating the image of Ukraine as a state on the pages of English-language publications.
