Features of language manner of S. Rudansky are analyzed in the study. It is found that in comparison with modern literary norms, language of poem-tale “Tsar Solovey” by S. Rudansky has several deviations and specifi c features. The presence of these features in the middle of the ХІХth century, when Ukrainian language was only in a process of literary norms developing, is appropriate.
